The two Kayonga Boys who suffer from Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and the Sapphire Foundation Care <\/strong><\/p><\/div>\r\n\r\nDuchenne muscular dystrophy has hit many families in Uganda, Africa and the world at large and being a disease that has no cure parents with Duchenne children need full support in terms of spiritual support,\u00a0 financial and emotional support and also food relief, some families go a day without even having a single meal, if you realize it\u2019s not easy to take care of a Duchenne patient without support since they are no longer able to help them selves due to weakening of muscles and muscle wasting. So it\u2019s their parents who have to carry them from bed to outside, feed them, bathe them and do all the person hygiene related stuff single handedly, Yes its a lot of work.\r\n\r\nPaul, Josh, Pius and some other members have managed to hike from different places across central Uganda.\u00a0 \u00a0When they were asked about how the experience is? Everyone is positive because we are doing this for a good cause. And so far we have raise close to $300 which we are using to make a huge difference.\r\n\r\n

The team is fully committed with all the energy and full force to hike all the 150 miles or more \u00a0that were set as a target to be covered from 18th<\/sup> June to 18th<\/sup> August. we have so far covered 48miles and still strong and going. To all our donors each mile counts you can donate as much as you can to support this cause and please keep the pledges coming. All the donations got will go to these Duchenne and vulnerable families to support their daily needs.
