The Sapphire Africa Foundation is thrilled to announce its upcoming annual medical camp, set to take place in Ruteete, Kabarole District. This medical camp will feature a distinguished team of expert health workers, including consultant doctors, nurses, and specialists from the United States of America. These professionals bring a wealth of experience and expertise that will significantly enhance the quality of care provided during the camp.

Why Ruteete? While the Sapphire Africa Foundation has successfully held medical camps in various regions of Uganda, this year marks a significant milestone as we extend our outreach to the western region for the first time. Recognizing the urgent need to serve vulnerable groups across the country, we have chosen Ruteete in Kabarole District as our next location, ensuring that essential healthcare services reach those who need them most.

Dental Care: Oral examinations, dental cleanings, extractions, and cavity fillings

Diabetes and Hypertension: Screening, management advice, and medication
HIV/AIDS: Voluntary counselling and testing (VCT), antiretroviral therapy (ART) initiation and management
Malaria: Rapid diagnostic testing, treatment, and distribution of insecticide-treated bed nets

Nutritional counselling and dietary advice

Substance abuse prevention and rehabilitation guidance
